Hello there all you Maximum Ride readers! Welcome to this thread! I am glad to announce that I will starting a new Maximum Ride RP! This thread will be just for sign ups. I am giving everyone who wants to join to join. Even if you haven't read all the books or none at all not a problem. This RP will be easy to follow.
Not only that this RP won't be completely based around the entire series. So that means, sadly to say, none of the original characters or scenes will be added to the RP. Information about bird kids, evil scientist known as White Coats, genetic mutations, issues with the world and the fight for survival will all be included. I believe writing your own version of the story is a lot more entertaining rather than copying a lot of the events from the books.
I am looking for people who can do story base RP's. Meaning full on paragraphs, complete sentences, detailed information etc. Hence why I am posting this thread in the advance RP boards. Your characters must be original! No copying looks, personality, or powers from any of the characters within the book series! This is all that I ask. I don't have any set rules, but please abide by these rules: Click!
Furthermore, I will be selecting a small handful of people to join. At most three, but no more. The more people you have the harder it is to keep everyone on the same track or role playing regularly. Also, I will be the one to write the starting RP post.
Here is some information about the Maximum Ride series:
Mutant Bird Kids: 98% human, 2% avian (bird). Bone structure is lighter enabling them to fly, heavier bones would have proven to be a problem. Their wings are quite large. When stretched out they appear longer than their body. Example: Bird Kid height- 5'6" Wing Span: Roughly 14 feet. On some occasions the mutations within the bird kid evolve causing them to gain new abilities such walking through walls, turning invisible, talking to animals etc.
Erasers: Human-wolf hybrids. Most of the time they take on human form but when on the attack or on the hunt they'll appearance takes on a more wolfish look. Almost like you modern day werewolf. Almost all of them have nasty jerk like personalities. A handful have the thirst for blood. Erasers are the White Coats lackeys. So trusting one of them is a high level risk, better to avoid.
White Coats: Scientist who enjoy experimenting on other humans. They have labs all across the globe, most hidden some in plain sight. Not all White Coats are evil beings, some are out to help improve the world's existence yet those who they poke and probe don't see it that way. In any case all are crazy in the head.

Hair color and style: Brown, short usually spiked at the front.
Height and weight: 6'0" strong built. Around 135 pounds. (note: remember bird kid bone structures are lighter so they weigh slightly lighter than normal humans even though they don't appear so.)
Personality: Brave, outgoing/cheerful, well balanced mind, often times he will act before he thinks depending on the situation at hand.
Wing colors: Same color as his hair, but tip of wings are slightly darker.
Other abilities: Super Strong.
Example RP Reply: Required! Post along with Character Sheet please. Also, tell the story in your own way. Use the idea below. The example RP is how I determine who gets to join the RP or not.
Flight! It been several months since you had last flown. Your wings ached from not being in use. You wished those lame White Coats would let you out of your crate once in a while to practice flying. Yet, they keep you from tasting any freedom. As of now your being transported to a different base. Stuck in the same smelly crate, and crowded armed van for more than six hours. But then you hear a pop, the van looses control! Next thing you know you wake up in middle of a wreck. Nobody moved, you seem to be the only alive. Looking around you, you see no bars preventing from leaving. Joyed you stretch out your wings in just a matter of seconds you were soaring through the sky. Yipping with glee.

The example RP is titled "Flight". That paragraph is what I would like you guys to use when signing up. But in your own words. Please remember to use full sentences and paragraphs. It doesn't have to be super long. At most 3-5 paragraphs as long as it it reaches the word count required for this section of the RP board. Thank You :3
